Michael L. Bonham, 64, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2009, at Arlington Care & Rehabilitation Center, Columbus, surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer.

Mike was born on February 6, 1945, in Tiffin, to the late Donald B. and Lucille K. (Wonderly) Bonham.

Survivors include his sister, Susan Kendall and brother-in-law, Robert Bright of Columbus, a niece Cortney Kendall and a grand niece and nephew, Alana and Dillan Woodard.

Mike graduated in 1963 from Bremen High School, Bremen, Indiana, and, received his teaching degree from St. Francis College in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and later completed his MBA at Xavier College in Cincinnati. He later retired as part owner of Bookmyer Printing and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Mike loved all sports and enjoyed spending time watching them on television. His passion was the Cincinnati Reds and occasionally made it to Cincinnati to see a game. He was a tireless supporter for sobriety and the cause of Alcoholics Anonymous.

In keeping with Mike's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial Mass will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass. The family would like to invite guests to join them for a time of food and fellowship following the Mass at St. Mary Catholic School Rec Room.

The family extends a special thank you to Mike's friends, as well as the doctors and nurses at Mercy Hospital, for the loving care they provided. May he now rest in eternal peace.
