Michael Craig Knepper, 63, died on June 2, 2016 in Vista Care Home, Milan.
He was born in Tiffin, Ohio, on March 8, 1953 to Walter and Grace (Moll) Knepper. He was raised on the family farm northwest of Tiffin and was proud of his family heritage.
Michael is survived by his sister, Susan (Randy) Halen of Tiffin; niece, Jennifer (Andy) Kaler of Meridian, Idaho; and two great nieces, Ella Grace and Camille Faith Kaler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a great niece, Leah Faith Kaler.
He was a member of 4-H and the FFA; showing steers at the local fair. Michael graduated from Hopewell Loudon High School and farmed with his father for several years before being employed at the Budd Company in Carey. In 1981, he married Bonnie L. Loudenslager and the marriage ended in dissolution in 1991. He was a member of Baptist Church in Fostoria and his favorite interests centered around John Deere tractors, Harley Davidson motorcycles and his horse, Abel.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with his cousin, Norman Murray officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the funeral home.
