Michael "Mike" "Turk" McCrory, 75, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, July 29, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on July 19, 1940, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Harry B. and Vivian (Bassett) McCrory. On October 27, 1988, in Las Vegas, NV, he married Gloria Troiano.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria of Tiffin; two daughters, Michelle Warnick of Tiffin and Christina "Tina" (Joe) Jackson of Bloomville; two stepchildren, Veronica Cornett and Charlie Cornett, both of Tiffin; five grandchildren, Ryan (Jennifer Fowler) McCrory of Tiffin, Zachary Warnick of Bettsville, Senior Airman, Brent (Emma) Hays, A.F.B of Clovis, NM, Britney Hays and Bailey Jackson, both of Bloomville; six great grandchildren, Abel, Blaize, Chance, Alysen, Zander and Brantley; two step grandchildren, Abby Ritchie and John Cornett; mother-in-law, Virginia Troiano of Tiffin; three brothers-in-law, John (Sandy) Troiano and Mike (Linda) Troiano, both of Tiffin and Tom (Dina) Troiano of Sycamore; two sisters-in-law, Sue Allen of Fostoria and Nancy (Tim Ryan) Steinmetz of Huron; former wife, Clair McCrory; many nieces and nephews; and close friends and "adopted" family, Ron and Maryann Roof of Lima.

Preceding him death were his parents; father-in-law, Lucian "Tony" Troiano; brother-in-law, Willard "Bill" Allen; sister, Patricia Harlett; Uncle and Aunt, Richard and Phyliss Switzer; step granddaughter, Amanda Martin; a niece; and a great niece.

Mike graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School in 1958, worked at Quick Tab II, S.C.A.T. and retired as a truck driver from San Gregory Cartage. He enjoyed golfing, watching the San Diego Chargers and NASCAR; following drivers Joey Logano and Kasey Kahne. Mike also enjoyed going to GW's in the morning and having coffee with the guys and loved his cat, Kasey. He was a member of the Eagles #402 and Tiffin Moose Lodge #846.

His funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Pastor Michael Padula officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 2-5:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Seneca County or to Community Hospice Care.
