Michael L. "Mike" Smith, 79, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 21, 2025 at Autumnwood Care Center.

On July 07, 1946, in Fremont, he was born to Fred and Betty (Miller) Smith.  He married Donna Lochotzki on November 05, 1976, and she survives.

Also surviving is a son, Michael Aaron Smith of Florida; daughters, Satrinya Marie Hensley of Kentucky; Amanda Marie Weiker of Tiffin; sisters, Freddie Lou Grohnke of Toledo; Jo Lynn (Dan) Jadwisiak of Marblehead; three grandchildren, Mira Smith of Toledo; Beviin Smith of Findlay; and Caitlyn Weiker of Tiffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, half-brothers, Richard and Robert Smith and half sister, Beverly Miller.

Mike was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and proudly earned his GED in 2007.  He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1965-1967, stationed in Korea.  He was a forklift operator for Kelsey-Hayes, retiring in 2006 after 36 years. He continued to work for Tiffin Ford and the Seneca County Commission on Aging, delivering Meals on Wheels.  He was a member of the Tiffin AmVets and enjoyed hunting deer, geese, and turkey.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, October 04, 2025, from 12-4:00 PM at the Seneca County Commission on Aging, 382 South Huron St., Tiffin, OH 44883.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or the Seneca County Commission on Aging.
