Michael E. " Mike" Wise, 58, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.

He was born on January 17, 1964, in Tiffin, Ohio to James Ray and Janet (Fretz) Wise.  On August 8, 1987, he married Margaret Burke.

Survivors include his mother, Janet Wise of Tiffin; wife, Margaret Wise of Tiffin; son, Eric Wise of Tiffin; daughters, Brooke (Gus) Baldosser of Republic and Madison Wise of Tiffin; brothers, Steve (Deb) Wise of Republic, Ron (Sue) Wise and Tim (Kim McGough) Wise, both of Tiffin; grandson, Beau Baldosser; mother-in-law, Dianna Burke of Fort Seneca; brother-in-law, Richard (Tami) Burke of Tiffin; nieces, Amanda, Olivia, Olivia and Megan; nephews, Derek, Mitchell and Cody; and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Ray Wise; and father-in-law, Ronald Burke.

Mike was a 1982 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.  He began his career at National Machinery in 1990 in Rebuilds.  In 1992, he moved to Central Stores as a Material Handler then moved to Repair Order-QRC as a Sub-Assembler.  He joined Remanufacturing in 1993 as an Assembler and later Technician.  In NewCo, he has worked in Aftermarket as a Sr. Customer Service Rep. and in 2021 was promoted to Forging Specialist.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and served on the Clinton Zoning board and the Attica Fair sale committee.  Mike was an OSU and NASCAR fan, enjoyed playing on many golf leagues, watching Hallmark movies, hunting, running errands around town, taking drives in his truck, attending any activities his children were involved in, spending time with his family; especially his grandson, Beau.

His Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.
