Michael Harry Rountree, 63, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday evening, August 25, 2012 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.
On December 4, 1948 in Wichita, KS; he was born to Fred Hurley and Jacqueline Louise (Gautreau) Rountree. He married Joy Weber on June 4, 2002 and they moved to Tiffin in 2003.
Survivors include his wife Joy of Tiffin; father and step mother, Fred ( Margaret) Rountree of Lancaster, PA; three children, Cindi (Robert) Fallen, Michael (Nicole) Rountree II, and David Rountree all of Maryland; step son; Travis (Jenn) Barrett of Indiana; granddaughter; Darci Bess of Maryland and a brother, Rick Rountree of Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline and a brother, Tom Rountree.
Michael graduated from high school in Hershey, PA and later received his Associates Degree. He worked for Hilltop Energy Inc. in Lisbon as a Tech. Rep. for explosives. He enjoyed golfing and life. He served his country in the U.S. Air force honorably for 8 years until his discharge in1975.
His wishes were to be cremated with no services.
Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
