Michael "Mike" D. McQuistion, 54, of Tiffin, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.

On April 27, 1955 he was born to John T. and Helen (Kipps) McQuistion in Tiffin. On July 19, 1975 he married Pamela Digby and she survives in Tiffin.

Survivors include along with his wife, his mother, one daughter, Brandy McQuistion, one son, Travis McQuistion, both of Tiffin, three brothers, Tom (Virginia) McQuistion of IL., Terry McQuistion of Tiffin, Roger (Beth) McQuistion of WI., and one sister, Luann (Dennis) Eisele of Marion.

Preceding him in death is his father.

Mike was a 1974 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. He worked at Excell Wire and Cable for over 25 years. Most recently, he drove truck for Shultz Oil Co. in Tiffin. Mike was a NASCAR fan, and he loved everything about racing, especially go-karts and street stock at local tracks, 37 B. He enjoyed watching demolition derby. Mike will be remembered as having a great sense of humor, liking everyone he met, and having a fun loving attitude.

The Funeral Service will be 10:30am, Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Senior Minister Terry Jones and Youth Minister Chris Beard officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family 1-3pm and 6-8pm, Friday, July 17, 2009 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home.
