Mildred A. Gilliland, 73, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday evening, July 10, 2011 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.

She was born November 12, 1937 in Tiffin to Adolph R. & Florence M. (Sandys) Gilliland.

She is survived by nieces and nephews; Mark Fowler, Jeff Martin, Pam (Dennis) Kelbley, and Cindy (Mike) Fulton, and great nieces Melissa and Jessica Kelbley.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul Gilliland, sisters; Frieda Martin and Dorothy Fowler and great niece, Amanda Martin.

Mildred graduated from Columbian High School in 1956 and was a member of Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Tiffin. She worked for a variety of employers, including; Jolly's, Heidelberg College, Haffling Printing Co., Betty Jane and retired from the office of Sterling Grinding Wheel. She formerly served on the Board of the Easter Seals. She enjoyed traveling, watching movies, and taking care of her various cats.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M., at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. Craig Clark, one of Jehovah's Witnesses, will conduct the service.

Friends may visit with the family from 9:30-11:00 A.M., Friday, July 15, 2011 at the funeral home.
