Mintha "Mint" L. Pryor, 73, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday evening, December 6, 2020 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Toledo.

She was born March 16, 1947, in Hazard, KY., to Jasper and Freda (Combs) Ritchie. She married Allen "Mike" Pryor on March 12, 1968.

Survivors include her husband, Allen "Mike" Pryor of Tiffin; son, Paul David (Angel) Pryor of Tiffin; daughter, Debra Ann (John) Meisner of Tiffin; brothers, Bobby (Mildred) Ritchie of Bloomville, Coy (Carol) Ritchie of Tiffin, Jack Ritchie of Tiffin; sisters, Elaine (Don) Hurt of Tiffin, Bess (Paul) Tryee of Green Springs; sister-in-law, Beverly Ritchie of Tiffin; and grandchildren, Autumn Lee Pryor of Tiffin, Corey Jacob Meisner of Tiffin and Brett Michael Meisner of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David "Jay" Ritchie, and Hubert "Magoo" Ritchie.

Mint spent a dedicated 50 years serving others as a STNA, starting at St. Francis of Green Springs at 16, and ending with 35 years at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center for resident suffering from dementia. Mint could often be spotted driving around town in her blue escape with her beloved pet, Piper. She loved and enjoyed her family more than anything in life. She spent hours purposely loosing Mario Party with her grand kids. Mint was compassionate to the hungry, sick, poor, and to anyone less fortunate or suffering. In addition to her family, she also dedicated her life to advocating for the well being of animals, donating to organizations such as ASPCA and the Humane Society of the United States. She was an avid news watcher and enjoyed watching crime stories.

A service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Paul Tryee officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

A masked visitation for family and friends will be from 5-8:00 P.M. on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.  Family and friends are asked to wear masks and social distance as they pay their respects.

Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Seneca County.
