Muriel Irene Hinckley, 66, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday morning, December 11, 2012 at St. Francis Home.
On April 26, 1946 in Findlay, she was born to Raymond and Eveleen (Joseph) Harshman.
Survivors include daughter, Darla Hinckley of Orlando, FL; Dustin Hinckley of Tiffin; step mother, Joyce Harshman of Tiffin; sisters, Shirley Guss and Cheryl (Red) Bland both of Tiffin and two grandchildren, Andrew Kuczynski and Benjamin Perez.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Robert Harshman and Harmon Guss, Jr.
Muriel was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1964 graduate of Tiffin Calvert and Mary Manse College in Toledo. She worked at several area factories and retired in 2010 from M-Tek in Upper Sandusky. She was a member of MENSA, enjoyed working in her yard and flower garden, collecting comic books and antiques and working on puzzles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.
Friends may visit with the family from 2-6:00 P.M. on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Wake Service will begin at 6:00 P.M.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Community Hospice Care.
