Myrtle "Peanut" Taulbee, 47, of Tiffin, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 29, 2012 in the Emergency Room at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

On September 17, 1964 in Whitesburg, KY, she was born to Kindred and Julia (West) Taulbee.

Survivors include a daughter, Jessica Collins of Bloomville; FiancAC.', Gary Lauterbur of Tiffin; brothers, Roy (Linda) Taulbee of Tiffin; Glenn Taulbee of Bloomville; sisters, Annie Halcomb of Bloomville; Elizabeth "Jean" Sandlin of Campbellsburg, KY; 2 grandchildren, Alexis and Ally Collins and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild, Mackenzie Mcgee.

Peanut attended the Bible Baptist Church and was recently baptized at Roger's Lake. She enjoyed her dogs, shopping, playing games, attending auctions and loved playing with her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be Friday, February 3, 2012 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory at 11:00 AM with Rev. Yeager officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may visit on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home and on Friday an hour prior to the service.
