Nancy A. Emmons, 62, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 15, 2012 at Ruffing Family Care Center, Tiffin.

She was born on September 26, 1950 in Tiffin, Ohio to Dale and Ruth (Weisenberger) Gerber. She married Steve Emmons and they later divorced.

Survivors include her daughter, Nanette (Richard Cook) Reid of Tiffin; sister, Susan (David) Helderman of Fostoria; and 2 grandchildren, Payge and Zander Cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Nancy graduated in 1968 from Tiffin Calvert High School and in 1969 from Georgeianna Hair Academy. She enjoyed crocheting and loved her dog, Sadie Jean. Nancy enjoyed life and spending time with her family; especially her grandkids.

There will be no visitation. Burial will be at a later date.

Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
