Nancy A. Smith, 69, of Tiffin, passed away on Saturday evening, January 26, 2019 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born on September 8, 1949, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Earl A. and Mary A. (Lorentz) Kahler.  She married Steve Smith and they later divorced.

Survivors include her daughters, Jenny (Jay) Richardson of Delaware and Danielle Smith of Tiffin; brothers, Thomas (Deb) Kahler of Tiffin and Michael (Beverly) Kahler of Willard; sisters, Sandra (Ken) Werling of Florida and Lori (Bob Huffman) Kahler of Tiffin; grandchildren, Hayden Smith, Morgan Smith and Alexa Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jacob W. "Jake" Richardson; and fiancée, Robert A. Reino.

Nancy graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School and worked at St. Francis Home for seven years and Ameri-Kart Corporation in Fostoria, as the safety manager, for over ten years.  She was a member of Amvets Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed making crafts, ceramics and getting together with classmates.

Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at First Lutheran Church, 300 Melmore Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, with Pastor Clayton J. Bailey officiating.  Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may visit and share stories with the family from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local hospice organization.
