Nancy L. Work, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 2, 2012 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.

On March 16, 1940 in Sycamore, she was born to Guy R. and Farrie E. (Lanker) Osborn. She married J. Dewey Hetzel and they later divorced. She married Kenneth Work on April 3, 1996.

Survivors include her husband Ken, sons, Lowell (Peg) Hetzel of Tiffin; Mark (Judith) Hetzel of New Carlisle, OH; Jeff (Linda) Hetzel of Louisburg, NC; Joe (Jenn) Hetzel of Bascom; Chad (Sarai) Work of Delmont, PA; a daughter, Kimberly (Mike) Dutt of Powell, OH; a brother, Richard (Helga) Osborn of Pforzheim, Germany; sister, Barbara Truka of Marion, OH; 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and her two dogs, Molly and Lucy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Nancy was a 1958 graduate of Sycamore High School and worked for Textron in Fostoria for over 20 years and later at Whirlpool in Clyde for over 10 years, retiring in 2006. She enjoyed reading, birds, spending time with family, especially the children and grandchildren. Nancy and Ken wintered in Florida the past few years and enjoyed camping out West and touring Europe.

Her funeral service will be Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Dr. Louis Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit and share stories on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
