Nathaniel R. “Nate” Shellhouse, 38, of Fostoria, passed away Sunday morning, June 14, 2026.

On June 25, 1987, in Tiffin, Ohio, he was born to Ken and Lesa (Brandt) Shellhouse. He married Jessica Bryant and later divorced. His fiancé, Paige Hickman survives.

He is survived by his parents, Lesa (Don) Walter and Ken (Joyce) Shellhouse both of Fostoria. He shared three sons with Jessica; Xavier, Kyle, and Jaxton Shellhouse and a son with Paige, Conner Shellhouse and her daughter, Daisy Hickman. He is also survived by a brother, Dylan Shellhouse and his daughter, Kendyll Shellhouse of Tiffin; stepbrothers, Jason (Chandra) Gillig of Carey; Shawn Gillig of Fostoria; stepsister, Joy (Roy) Finley of Fostoria; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death was his dog, Kenya.

Nate graduated from Hopewell-Loudon High School and Vanguard-Sentinel Career Center in 2005. He worked at Kroger’s in Tiffin, P & A Industries in Findlay and Bridgestone in Findlay and Upper Sandusky for over 15 years. Most recently, he worked at Ball Metal in Findlay. Nate was a workaholic. Nate had a great sense of humor and a list of “One Liners” he wasn’t afraid to use. He was an OSU Buckeye and Atlanta Falcons fan and enjoyed binge watching movies and television shows and attending Rock Concerts around the area. He loved his children and watching them in baseball, wrestling, and football.

Friends may visit and share stories with the family on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 4-7:00 P.M. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883.

His funeral will be on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. There will be no burial at this time.
