Obituary

Noah L. 'Luke' Perry, 80, of Bloomville, died Tuesday, morning, January 22, 2008, at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin. On December 15, 1927, he was born in Stearns, KY, to Noah Levi and Mildred Perry, and raised by his father and step-mother, Alpha (Waters) Perry. On February 23, 1949, he married Phyllis Diemer.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Phyllis, four sons, Harry Levi Perry, Timothy Eugene (Nancy) Perry of Tiffin, Stephen Paul Perry of Toledo, Christopher Scott (Mary) Perry of Jacksonville, FL, four daughters, Nancy Ellen (John) Conley, Susan Elaine (John) Trausch, both of Tiffin, Pamela Louise (Kevin) Hunter of Republic, and Deborah Kay (Thomas) Cook of Bloomville. Other survivors include two sisters, Clara (Art) Minzer of Tiffin, Delores (DJ) Messersmith of Anna, eighteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death along with his parents, and step-mother, is a son, Larry Luke Perry, and a brother, Bearl Perry.

Luke proudly served in the Army Air Force from 1946-1948, during WWII. He worked as a gas station mechanic and a molder at Fostoria Foundry and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

There will be no visitation and burial will be at a later date.
