Norma J. Alley, 78, of Tiffin, passed away Friday evening, October 14, 2011 at her granddaughter's home surrounded by her family.

On January 31, 1933 in Tiffin, she was born to Floyd and Gladys (Blott) Sholl. She married Donald L. Alley on September 1, 1951 in Angola, IN.

Survivors include her 2 daughters; Bonnie (Ken) Raitz and Shari (Roger) Hill both of Tiffin; 2 brothers, Donald (Violet) Sholl and David (Grace) Sholl both of Tiffin; 8 grandchildren, Heather (Rick) Whitmer, Kendra (Jeff) Coots, Jason (Sasha) Raitz, Nicole Raitz, Jonathon Raitz, Amanda (Rick) Riley, Jessica (Cory Lutz) Hollins, Damien Hill, and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 47 years, Donald in 1998.

Norma was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed playing cards, BINGO, bowling, shopping, traveling with her husband, and visiting Amish Country. Norma loved her family and cherished the times together.

A funeral service will be Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Jan Kucera officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, October 17, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
