Obituary

Norma Jeanne Haefer, 75, of Bettsville, died Wednesday morning, November 11, 2009, at her home.

August 25, 1934, she was born in Seneca County to Franklin and Estella (Kimmet) Hoover. August 25, 1951, she married Louis C. 'Louie' Haefer Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Louie, a son, Mike Haefer, both of Bettsville, three daughters, Diane Cooper of Fostoria, Debra (Lance) Kaufman of Tiffin, Karen (Mark) Carter of Fremont, two brothers, Richard (Emma) Hoover of Maumee, Ronald (Pattie) Hoover of Bascom, a sister, Rose Mary Magers of Tiffin, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death along with her parents is a son-in-law, James Cooper II, three brothers, Donald,Charles and Kenneth Hoover and two infant sisters.

Norma was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Millersville. She enjoyed the holidays, bowling, camping, reading and working on the computer and genealogy. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Monday, November 16, 2009 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Garden.

Friends may visit with the family 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Sunday, November 15, 2009, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424.
