Norma Jean Kimmet, 73, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on May 27, 1945, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Jerome L. and Dolores (Nye) Kimmet.

Survivors include her sister, Patricia (Paul) Kollner of Cincinnati; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eldon Kimmet and James L. Kimmet; and infant sister, Elizabeth Ann Kimmet.

Norma graduated in 1963 from Tiffin Calvert High School and in 1970 from Tiffin University with an Associate's Degree.  She worked at St. Francis Nursing Home as a receptionist, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a lector and communion distributor, member of the Serra Club and volunteered at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 15 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass on Friday at the Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to St. Francis Home Chapel.
