Norma Kummerer. 69, of Tiffin passed away Sunday morning, April 29, 2012 at her home.

On December 16, 1942 in Brandon, IN she was born to Henry and Lula (Tiery) Rogier. She married David Kummerer on November 3, 1962 in San Diego, CA.

Survivors include her husband David of 49 years, daughters, Kimberly (William) Matheny of Tiffin, OH; Laura (John) Louder of Deland, FL; a brother, Earl (Rita) Rogier of Tiffin, OH; sisters, Helen Wynn of Tiffin, OH; Betty Smith of Perrysburg, OH; Evelyn (Mike) Wagner of Tiffin, OH; eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Hilda Steiner and Naomi Wagner.

Norma was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a 1960 graduate of Tiffin Calvert. She retired in 2004 from Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services where she had worked for over 10 years. Norma enjoyed her flowers, camping at Lake Erie, spending time with her friends and riding with her husband on their motorcycle. She also was a past member of the Tiffin Moose.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Roemmele officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to mass.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 4-8 PM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory.
