Norma J. Lang, 85, of Bascom, passed away early Sunday morning, September 8, 2013 at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria.
On December 26, 1927 in Findlay; she was born to Robert and Rose (Distel) Frankart. She married Alvin A. Lang on June 5 1948.
Survivors include her husband, Alvin; one son, Craig (Karen) Lang of Bascom; 3 grandchildren, Matt, Josh and Katie Lang; and one great grandchild, Brady Lang.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Norma was a member of Sts. Patrick & Andrew Catholic Church and was a graduate from Hopewell Loudon High School. After high school she opened up Norma's Beauty Shop in 1964, where she worked for 45 years. She was a member of the Rosary Alter Society, and loved to sew and make flower arrangements for around the house.
Her Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Sts. Patrick and Andrew Catholic Church, Bascom, with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. A rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow at Seneca Memory Garden.
Her visitation will be from 5-8 P.M Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian Wake Service will begin at 4:45 P.M.
Donations may be made to Sts. Patrick and Andrew Catholic Church, Liberty Twp., Hopewell Loudon Athletic Boosters, or a charity of donor's choice.
