Odelia Frances 'Dee' Kastner, 83, of Tiffin, died Tuesday morning, September 23, 2008 at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.

March 21, 1925, she was born in Kalida to Frank and Catherine (Hageman) Weatherholt.

On December 1, 1945, she married George T. Kastner.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, George, a son, Tom (Margaret) Kastner, a daughter, Norma Gladieux, all of Tiffin, two grandchildren, Jacquelyn (Kyle) Timmons of Maumee, Eric Kastner of Tiffin, and a great-grandchild Nicholas James Timmons.

Preceding her in death along with her parents are two brothers, Richard and Sylvester 'John' Weatherholt and a sister, Rosemary Taylor.

Dee worked for over 33 years on 3 South at Mercy Hospital as a nurse aid, retiring in 1987. She was an animal lover who enjoyed garage sales, aquariums, making cookies, traveling the United States and raising birds.

Funeral Mass 10:00 AM, Friday, September 26, 2008 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Eric Culler officiating. A rosary will be prayed 15 minutes prior to the Mass.
