Obituary

Otto H. "Punk" Kiesel, 88, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday morning, December 23, 2016 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.

He was born on December 21, 1928, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Howard W. and Barbara (Williams) Kiesel.

Survivors include his niece, Bobbie (Gerald) Owens of Hemingway, SC, nephew, Jay (Coleen) Kiesel of Findlay and special friend, Anita Barrick of Tiffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ralph and Robert Kiesel; and sister, Margaret Irwin.

Punk spent the majority of his life living in the country, working the fields, hauling hay and doing odd jobs for others. He retired from the Seneca County Engineer's Department after ten years. He won awards and trophies with his show tractors and his draft horses in horse pulls. He enjoyed the activities and many friends at the Eagles and at the Izaak Walton League. Punk also enjoyed visiting the Amish County and selling walnuts to the Amish.

His funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Dr. Louis Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
