Patricia A. Bintz, 80, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday morning, September 18, 2015 at her home.

She was born on July 26, 1935, in Niles, Ohio, to Myron E. and Edna M. (Amy) Hays. On October 25, 1952, she married Gilbert G. Bintz and he preceded her in death on July 16, 2004.

Survivors include her two sons, Jimmy (Brenda) Bintz of Conroe, Texas and Michael (Jane) Bintz of Tiffin; two daughters, Pamela (William) Noftz of Clyde and Danna (John) Rice of Fremont; three brothers, Leo B. (Bobbi) Hays of Bettsville, Paul T. (Sandra) Hays of Fostoria and Thomas R. (Marsha) Hays of Girard, Ohio; sister, Dolores M. Hays of Tiffin; 17 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; loving neighbors, Rick and Robin Hurt; and her friends at Jeffco Lake.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; infant daughter, Rebecca Sue Bintz; brother, Myron R. Hays; and infant great grandson, Justin Todd Spaide.

Patricia attended First Nazarene Church, Tiffin for many years and was a former member of the Tiffin Amvets Post 48. She loved long walks with her husband, bird watching and working in her yard. Patricia also enjoyed camping for over thirty years at Jeffco Lake in Andover, Ohio, listening to and watching the Gaither Trio for hours and long walks down the railroad tracks hunting fresh mushrooms and asparagus.

Her Memorial Service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Chaplain Jane Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the Service at the funeral home.
