Patricia Marie Schetter Otwell, 75, of Tiffin, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at The Willows in Bellevue.

June 11, 1933, she was born in Tiffin, to Victor and Marie (Heilman) Nepper. She married Kenneth Schetter, they later divorced and he survives. She married Clarence R. Otwell in 1982.

Survivors include three sons, Michael D. (Julie) Schetter, John (Penny) Schetter, Chris Schetter, all of Tiffin, two daughters, Linda Bentz, Vickie (Jim) Gaietto, both of Tiffin, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband, Clarence R. Otwell in 1992, is a brother, Richard Nepper.

Patricia was a 1951 graduate of Calvert High School and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She taught swimming lessons and was the coach of the YMCA swim team. She taught life saving and first aid for the Red Cross. She enjoyed spending time with her family and scuba diving.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 31, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will be at a later date.
