Patricia Ann Tippin, 87, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday afternoon, March 9, 2017 at St. Francis Home.

On September 27, 1929 in Tiffin, she was born to Harley and Jenny (Pryor) Hoffman.  She married Doyle Tippin on October 22, 1948 in Trinity United Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son, Mike (Linda) Tippin of Tiffin; Cassandra Hines of Columbus; Jane (Jim) Shelton of Cambria, CA; sisters, Jackie Billmaier and Susan Fowler, six grandchildren, Kristi, Brian, Stacey, Joe, Tim, and Stephanie, and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Doyle Tippin on April 5, 2006, sisters, Jean Schwartz, Betty Meisner, Rebecca Sharpe and a granddaughter, Tricia Hines.

Pat was a 1947 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and loved raising her family, traveling and spending time with her sisters, getting together and visiting with her family.  She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Cavaliers, square dancing, knitting and playing Pinochle and Euchre with her husband in the same card club for 45 years.

Her service will be Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 11:00 with Rev. Kurt Blaufuss officiating at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home& Crematory.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit and share stories on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
