Paula J. Sehlhorst, 62, of Bloomville, passed away on Friday morning, December 9, 2016 at her home.

She was born on September 18, 1954, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Paul L. and Dorothy J. (Dayton) Haman. On June 12, 1973, she married Anthony D. Sehlhorst.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony of Bloomville; son, Greg (Heather) Sehlhorst of Tiffin; brother, Rick (Linda) Haman of Fostoria; and three grandchildren, Erin Sehlhorst, Mercedes Omlor and Autumn Sehlhorst.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Paula graduated in 1972 from Tiffin Columbian High School and retired in 2010 as a custodian for Tiffin City Schools, after 31 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, enjoyed reading, was a Wizard of Oz fanatic and loved traveling especially to Disneyland in California and to Iowa to visit her long time friend. Paula also enjoyed playing with her dogs, Sophie, Samantha and Buttons and loved spending time with her family, especially her son and grandchildren.

Her Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church. There will be no burial at this time.

There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Bridge Hospice or to F.A.C.T.
