Phyllis Byrne, 90, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday morning, August 3, 2011 at The Arbors at Clyde.

She was born on February 25, 1921 in Seneca County to Joseph & Leora (Huth) Decker. She married Harry Monroe Byrne on May 18, 1940 and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2002.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Byrne and Larry Byrne both of Tiffin, OH; three daughters, Anna Lou Morehart of Sandusky, OH, Nancy (Ken) Yoakum, Sr. of Tiffin, OH and Nanette (Jim) Kimball of Bellevue, OH and one sister, Anna Louise (Stanley) Weber of Tiffin; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and eight siblings.

Phyllis enjoyed garage sales, playing cards, gardening and canning, walking, swimming and enjoyed raising her family.

There will be no visitation. Private services were held for the family, with Pastor Terry Steinhauer officiating. Burial took place at Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin, OH.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice or Arbors of Clyde Activity Fund.
