Phyllis Weber Miller Horn, 94, of Tiffin, Ohio, formerly of Wabash, Indiana, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Elmwood at the Shawhan in Tiffin.

She was born on September 18, 1918 in Wabash County, Indiana to Lincoln and Dorothy (Weber) Baer. She first married Gene K. Miller in Bristol, Indiana on August 22, 1940 and he preceded her in death on November 8, 1982. She then married Robert J. Horn, in March of 1990 in Bowling Green, Ohio and he passed away on December 14, 2012.

Survivors include her 3 children, Sharon Harvey of Hilton Head, SC, Dorothy (Jerry) Baker of LaPorte, IN and Thomas (Ellen) Miller of Columbia, SC; 3 grandsons, Thomas Harvey of Hilton Head, Stephen Baker of Noblesville, IN and Joel (Jayme) Baker of Lindenhurst, IL; 4 great grandchildren; 2 step children, Susan Horn of Pasadena, MD and Sara (Michael) Selmon of Alma, Michigan; and 3 step grandchildren, Hannah, Margaret and Emma Selmon, all of Alma, MI.

She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands; and son-in-law, Richard Harvey.

Phyllis was a 1935 graduate of Laketon High School and a 1939 graduate of Indiana University School of Nursing. She was an OB Supervisor and assistant director of nursing at Wabash County Hospital, retiring in 1976. Phyllis was a longtime member of the Wabash First United Methodist Church and a current member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Tiffin. She was also a life member of the Wabash Order of the Eastern Star. After retirement, Phyllis and her husband Gene lived on Lake Papakeechie from 1977 until his death in 1982.

Funeral services are pending at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, IN. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash, IN at a later date.
