Phyllis Gwendolyn Magers, 78, of Tiffin, died Tuesday morning, January 22, 2008, at her home.
On May 29, 1929, she was born in Malinta, OH, to Rolland and Musa LaVonne (Warner) Church. August 11, 1940, she married Carl L. Bowman and they later divorced. May 12, 1967, she married John F. Magers.
Survivors include two sons, Joe Allan (Pam) Bowman of Livingston, TN, Gary Lee (Brenda) Magers of Tiffin, two daughters, Sandy Kay Robinson and Diane Tyree, both of Tiffin, a sister, Mary E. England of New Riegel, 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, four stepsons, Jim, Robert, Edward, John, six step-daughters, Vivian, Helen, Linda, Margaret, Doris, Laura, and a host of step-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband, John, on January 22, 1999, are two sons, Lonnie Gibbs, Dan Bowman, a daughter, Bonnie Lou Bowman, a brother, Robert Church and three sisters, Sharon Smith and infants, Constance, and Sandra Church.
Mrs. Magers was a member of Bible Baptist Church and enjoyed yard work and spending time with her family.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, January 25, 2008, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, with Rev. William Combs officiating. Entombment will follow in Seneca Memory Garden.
Friends may visit with the family 4-8 PM, Thursday, January 24, 2008, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home.
