Raymond L. Perkins, 87, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in the Emergency Room at  Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.

He was born on September 25, 1934, in Melmore, Ohio, to Roy and Treva (Miller) Perkins.

Survivors include his sons, Gary (Jennifer) Perkins of Hilliard, Perry (Patricia) Perkins of Republic, Larry Perkins of Toledo and Brian (Kim) Perkins of Greenwich; daughter, Gwendolyn (Jason Ward) McCoy of Tiffin; brother, Marvin (Carolyn) Perkins of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sisters, Sharon O'Nan and Shirley Kear, both of Tiffin; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and longtime girlfriend, Koko.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cheryl Drum; infant brother, Dwight Perkins and brother, Daryl Perkins; and sisters, Mary Alice Nominee, Delores Agerter, Phyllis Raitz and Ruth Rospert.

Raymond was a 1953 graduate of Bloomville High School and was a butcher at J.H. Routh Packing Co. for more than 20 years, retiring in 2000.  He was a practical joker and enjoyed playing basketball and raising cutting horses.

His Funeral Service will be at 11;00 A.M. on Tuesday , May 24, 2022 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with his nephew, Allen O'Nan officiating.  Burial will be private in Green Springs Cemetery, Green Springs, Ohio.
