Regina Hohman, 92, passed away Friday morning, October 7, 2011, at Elmwood at the Shawhan.

She was born on December 25, 1918 in Bascom, OH to Frank & Dora (Hammer) Brickner. She married Paul F. Hohman on June 15, 1940 in St. Patrick Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on January 28, 1981.

Surviving are five sons; Bernard (Martha) Hohman, Dave (Clara Best) Hohman, Kenneth (Rita) Hohman and Paul (Patricia) Hohman all of Tiffin, OH and Dennis (Marcia) Hohman of Fostoria, OH; one brother, Francis (Helen) Brickner of Fostoria, OH; one Daughter-in-Law, Diane Hohman of Columbus, OH; 23 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Ronald Hohman, Daughter-in-Law, Gayle Hohman and five sisters, Celeste Brickner, Sr. Mary Norene Brickner, OSU, Louella Kelbley, Marcella Brickner and Mary Agnes Clouse.

Regina was a lifetime member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society in Bascom, OH. She graduated valedictorian from Tiffin Calvert High School in 1936. She was a homemaker and a farmwife.

A mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, October 10, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bascom with Rev. Frank Murd officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. The Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to mass.

Friends may visit with the family from 1-6 P.M. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419)447-2424. A Christian Wake service will begin at 6:00 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
