Reuben T. Conner, 88, of Tiffin, passed away Friday morning, March 4, 2011 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.
On July 14, 1922 in Mauertown, VA; he was born to Luther Martin and May Elizabeth (Funk) Conner. He married Pauline Summers October 11, 1981.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Pauline; 3 children, Peggy Summers, Greg (Chris) Summers, Debra (Lynn) Summers; 2 grandchildren, Aaron and Aaric Gannon and 3 great grandchildren, Ravyn, Blayz and Juvencia Gannon; all the love of his life.
His parents and 8 brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
Reuben was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Fostoria and retired as a crane operator from Morgan Engineering in Alliance, OH after 32 years. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, yard work and attending the grandsons sporting events. He was a fan of the New York Yankees and watching CNN.
A funeral service will be Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 11:00 am at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Barbara Siegle officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, March 7, 2011 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
