Obituary

Rex N. Davison, 63, of Tiffin, passed away Friday morning, May 18, 2012 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.

On March 6, 1949 in Cleveland, he was born to Homer and Randi (Doblough) Davison.

Survivors include brothers, Jim Davison of Bryan, OH; Michael (Carla) Davison of Middlefield, OH; sister, Anita (Joe) James of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and special friends, Nina and Fred Stalsworth and family and his dog Millie.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Rex attended Aurora High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army on July 17, 1967 serving in Vietnam with Company D, 2nd Battalion (Airmobile), 12th Calvary. He was very proud to fight for his country, receiving many citations including the Air Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with four Bronze Stars, Sharpshooter Badge with Rifle Bar, and Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation with Palm Device and many others. Rex worked in Maintenance at the Tiffin Mall for over 10 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and life. He was a member of the Tiffin Masonic Temple, Lodge 77.

A Memorial service will be at the Tiffin Masonic Lodge #77 at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 30, 2012. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery with military honors conducted by the United Veterans Council.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, Shriner's Hospital or to Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.
