Richard Joseph Graham, 75, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
He was born on November 20, 1936, in Bascom, Ohio, to Leonard & Mary (Keefe) Graham. On July 24, 1956, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, he married Carol Kerschner.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; two sons, Michael (Amy) Graham and Dale Graham, both of Tiffin; five daughters, Mary (James) Ritchie of Middletown, Ohio, Marlene (Chris) Radabaugh of Union Town, Ohio, Debra (Carl) Jewell of Findlay, Ohio, Diann (Bill Franklin) Graham and Kathy Laudenslager, both of Tiffin, Ohio; two sisters, Donna (Frank) Brose of Tiffin, Ohio and Janice (Alan) Smith of Heath, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark Graham in 2009; brother, George Graham, Sr. and infant granddaughter, Danielle Jewel in 1990.
Richard attended Calvert High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He retired in 1998, after 20 years from the maintenance department at Tiffin Developmental Center. He also worked for Feasel Builders for many years and was a lifelong carpenter. Richard collected antique tractors and enjoyed going to tractor and steam engine shows and to flea markets. He enjoyed meeting his friends for breakfast at McDonalds. Richard also enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to mass.
Friends may visit with the family from 2-4:00 P.M. and 6-8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian Wake service will begin at 1:30 P.M.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tiffin Developmental Center or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
