Richard "Dick" L. Kisaberth, 71, of Republic, passed away on Saturday afternoon, May 4, 2013 at Ruffing Family Care Center in Tiffin.
He was born on January 8, 1942 in Tiffin to Charles R. and Mary K, (Wertz) Kisaberth. He married Judy Alleman on January 9, 1970 and she survives.
Also surviving are sons, Todd (Candy) Kisaberth of Wake Forest, NC; Greg Kisaberth of Lebanon, OH; daughters, Tracy (Brian) Phillips of Attica; Diane Gillig of Fostoria; a sister, Betty J. Thompson of Lake Worth, FL; and 11 grandchildren, Lexi and Mitchell Kisaberth, Jordan, Isaac, Macy, and twins, Alec and Jack Phillips, Jill and Sara Kisaberth, and Jenny and Lindsay Gillig.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Charles H. Kisaberth and an infant son, Chad Kisaberth in 1971
He worked at National Machinery as an assembler for more than 40 years, retiring in 2007. He was a member of the Tiffin Eagles 409, National Machinery Quarter Century Club, and was a Cleveland Indians and Browns fan. He enjoyed bowling and playing softball for many years in local leagues. Dick spent as much time as possible attending his grandchildren's sporting events and eagerly volunteered to transport them to appointments or various places. He relaxed by visiting with his friends, helping family, and working outside perfecting his lawn. He especially enjoyed attending Cleveland Indian games with his son and family.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass.
Friends may visit with the family from 3-5:00 & 6:30-8:00 P.M on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. The National Machinery Quarter Century Club will meet in body on Tuesday at 7:00. A Christian Wake Service will be prayed at 8 P.M.
