Richard W. Lynch, 87, of Mesa, AZ, died November 14, 2009 at a hospital in Mesa.

Dick was born September 28, 1922, in Bettsville to Warren P. and Eurie M. (Feasel) Lynch. July 4, 1940, he married Mildred 'Mid' Smith in Tiffin and she preceded him in death on December 26, 1992. He then married Patricia Killian in 1993, and she survives.

Other survivors include his four children, Richard L. Lynch of Bucyrus, Dianna (Larry) Taylor of Toledo, David (Brooke) Lynch of Mesa, AZ, and Sandra (Jim) Cordasco of Gold Canyon, AZ, grandchildren, Rhonda (Jim) Brunney of Columbus, Ronald Lynch of Minneapolis, Kimberly of Bucyrus, Shane Taylor of IN, Ashley (Josh) Brown of Toledo, John Lynch and Brandy Lynch of Bucyrus, Andy, Perry, Shawn and Allisa Lynch all of Mesa, AZ, eleven great-grandchildren, and siblings, Hazel Hansen of Gibsonburg, Jack (Betty) Lynch of Fostoria, Cora Jean Lutz of Old Fort, William (Louise) Lynch of KY, and Shirley (Jim) Burkart of Tiffin.

Preceding him death along with his parents and first wife, is a grandson, Travis Taylor, daughter-in-law, Mary Lynch, brother, Bob Lynch, and two sisters, Alice Bushman and Beulah Dumm.

Dick attended school in Bettsville, served in the US Air Force and was a driver for Matlack. He worked construction and had a restaurant in Florida. He retired to Arizona.

His memorial service will be Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at Nazarene Church in Mesa, AZ.

Graveside services and burial will be at a later date in Liberty Cemetery, SR 635, Bettsville.
