Richard L. Treft, 81, of Canal Fulton and formerly of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday morning, November 01, 2023 at The Chapel Hill Community.

He was born on June 18, 1942 in North Baltimore, Ohio to Donald L. and Helen J. (Hossler) Treft.  On April 28, 1972, he married Patricia Hoover.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Treft; son, Brian (Debra) Treft; granddaughter, Hannah Treft; brothers, Donald Treft, Bill Treft, Ralph Treft and Larry Treft; and sisters, Brenda Kay Treft, Ruth Ann Treft and Mary Jo Treft.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Richard was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and retired from Webster Mfg.  He enjoyed fishing, gambling and traveling.

His funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon on Monday, November 27, 2023 at New Beginnings Assembly of God, 733 N. Sandusky Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 with Rev. Rex King officiating. A luncheon will follow at Church.

Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Service at the Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Down Syndrome Association.
