Richard Ernest “Rick” Winkler, 68, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026.

He was born on January 23, 1958, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Richard L. and Patricia (Ranker) Winkler.

Survivors include his daughters, Elizabeth (Miguel Garcia) Esparza and Brittany (Aguado) Garcia, both of Columbus; sisters, Shelly (Michael Remsberg) Winkler of Tiffin, Debra Smith of Bellevue and Sherie (David) Hoerig of Tiffin; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Laura Winkler.

Rick served in the United States Marine Corp. from September 01, 1976 to November 10, 1977. He was a roofer for many years, loved dogs and enjoyed fishing.

There will not be any services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society.
