Richard "Rick" Eugene Wrightsman, 64, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 03, 2025, at his home.

He was born on February 06, 1961, in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Joseph Richard and Diane Carol (Witzel) Wrightsman.  On December 18, 2020, he married Darlene (Slavey) Moyers.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Wrightsman of Upper Sandusky; son, Jacob (Lee Blackman) Wrightsman of Columbus; stepsons, Barry (Samantha Sawyers) Shields of Columbus, Bobby Slavey, III of Upper Sandusky and Samuel (Dylan Shelby) Bianchi of Tiffin; stepdaughters, Melody Bianchi of Bucyrus and Sarah (Samantha) Brunty and Kayla (James) Kain both of Nevada, Ohio; sister, Bitsey (Tom) Morehart of Upper Sandusky; niece, Gretchen (Joey) Pearson of Fairhope, Alabama; nephew, Adam (Jenna) Morehart of Woodstock, GA; and three step grandchildren, Jordan, Brady, and Eden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his dog, Jolene.

Rick graduated from Upper Sandusky High School.  He enjoyed trips to Lake Erie, eating at Jolly Rogers, fishing, hunting and loved talking to people and sharing his knowledge.

Services will be private.
