Robert A. Bernard Jr., 62, of Tiffin, died Wednesday morning, December 9, 2009, at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.

On May 30, 1947, he was born in Tiffin, to the late Robert A. Sr. and Evelyn (Hossler) Bernard. On January 22, 1977, he married Judi Lorentz in Tiffin.

Survivors include his wife, Judi, two daughters, Stephanie Bernard of Tiffin, and Megan Bernard of Peru, IL, a brother, Steve (Becky) Bernard of Tiffin, three sisters, Rebecca (James) McMurray of Sunbury, Julie (Greg) Clouse and Janine (Doug) Albert both of Tiffin, and many friends that he shared great times with.

Bob was a 1965 graduate of Columbian High School and attended The Ohio State University. He worked for Hossler Construction for over 40 years, serving as president for the past several years. He was a member of Eagles 402, Moose Lodge 846, American Legion Post 169 and Sons of AmVets, where he served in many offices. He was a huge Ohio State and Oakland Raiders fan and loved Corvettes.

There is no visitation or service however a celebration of Bob's life will be at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
