Obituary

Robert A. 'Bob' Harshman, 61, of Tiffin, died Monday evening, June 1, 2009, at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.

He was born September 28, 1947, in Tiffin, to the late Raymond E. and Eveleen (Joseph) Harshman.

Survivors include his stepmother, Joyce Harshman, a sister, Muriel Hinckley, both of Tiffin, a niece, Darla Hinckley of Apoka, Fl, a nephew, Dustin Hinckley of Tiffin, two great-nephews, Benjamin Raymond Perez and Andrew John Kaczynski.

Bob was a 1965 graduate of Calvert High School and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He proudly served in the US Army from 1966-1968, during Vietnam. He worked at General Electric for over 10 years and more recently at Wal-Mart for several years. He was a member of Moose Lodge 846 and American Legion Post 169.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 4, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with Military Graveside services conducted by the United Veteran's Council.

Friends may visit with the family 10:00 - 12:30 PM, Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424.

Memorial contributions can be made to Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.
