Robert "Bob" E. Dewald, 61, of Findlay, passed away Tuesday morning, February 28, 2012 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.

He was born on August 17, 1950, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Francis P. and Pauline L. (Snyder) Dewald. He married Carolyn Wright on October 3, 1970 and they later divorced. He then married Susan Bolin on February 11, 1983 and they later divorced but remained close friends and life partners.

Bob had two sons with his first wife, Carolyn; Erich Dewald of London, England and Robbie E. Dewald, who passed away in 1980 and he had two daughters with his second wife, Susan; Carrie Dewald and Sara (Kyle) Roberts, both of Findlay, Ohio. Also surviving are three brothers, Ronald Dewald of Toledo, Ohio, Randy (Paula) Dewald of Tiffin, Ohio and Ricque (Heidi) Dewald of Hebron, Kentucky; two sisters, Roxane Shaath of Findlay, Ohio and Ruthee (Tim) Dewald of Tiffin, Ohio; four grandchildren, Gavin Dewald, Emma Mannering, Anderson Roberts and Jada Lynn Roberts; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robbie E. Dewald; and sister, Rachel Marie Dewald

Bob graduated from Hopewell Loudon High School in 1968 and lived in Findlay, Ohio for over 30 years. He worked in Lima at General Dynamics Tank Plant, retiring in 2001. He was a member of the UAW Local 2075. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, gardening and treasure hunting. Bob was the president of the Dewald family reunions and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

His funeral service will be Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with John Wildman officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 3-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
