Robert E. "Dutch" Schultz, 70, of Sarasota, FL and formerly of Tiffin, passed away Monday morning, May 2, 2016 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.

He was born on December 5, 1945, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Charles Robert "Bob" and Helen Barbara (Stetka) Schultz. In 1986, he married Connie Ross and she survives in Sarasota, FL.

Also surviving are his brother, Thomas (Edna Kathleen) Schultz of Tiffin; sister, Rebecca (Daniel) Clevenger of Upper Arlington; 4 nephews; 4 nieces; and numerous great nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael Schultz.

He was a 1963 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School, where he played football. He served in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1969 and retired in 2006 from the Highway Department of the Seneca County Engineer's Office. He was a loyal fan of Ohio State University football.

A Memorial Service will be at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. William Smith officiating. Burial will be at 9:30 A.M. on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Sarasota National Cemetery with Pastor Karl Kling officiating.

Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the Service on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the funeral home.
