Robert J. "Bob" "Grussy" Gruss, 65, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at his home.

He was born on April 13, 1957, in Tiffin, to Harold E. and Ruth (Goshe) Gruss.

Survivors include his son, Matthew Gruss of Fremont; daughter, Angela (Isaac) Allison of Cleveland; brother, Dennis (Beth) Gruss of Tiffin; and two grandsons, Isaiah and Dean.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob was a 1975 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School.  He was an inspector for National Machinery for 42 years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin Eagles #402 and the Knights of Columbus #608.  Bob was an avid Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers and University of Michigan fan.  He enjoyed working in his garden, doing yardwork, attending Calvert games, spending time with friends and was a faithful employee.  Bob loved being a grandpa and called himself "Bobba".

His Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
