Obituary

Robert W. "Bob" Hall, 76, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday morning, December 13, 2016 at his home.

He was born on May 24, 1940, in Mallory, West Virginia to Jess and Eileen (Brown) Hall. On January 26, 1967, he married Margaret Ann Kitts.

Survivors include his son, Bob Hall of Logan County, West Virginia; three daughters, Candace (Chuck) Hurt of Tiffin, Wendy (Andy) Hunkins of Mount Vernon and Shawn (Greg) Copley of Logan County, West Virginia; brother, Danny (Pat) Hall of Coolville, Ohio; four sisters, Joann Browning of Man, West Virginia, Gwen Vance of Man, West Virginia, Nancy (John) Shock of Little Rock, Arkansas and Pam (Tom) Spencer of Las Vegas, Nevada; seven grandchildren, Cory Clark, Kaytee Clark, Jett Hurt, Jace Hurt, Josh Schwab, Lily Hunkins and Drew Hunkins; and three great grandchildren, Brynn Schwab, Sylas Schwab and Harper Hurt.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret; and sister, Shirley Green.

Bob graduated from Man High School in 1958. After graduation, he served in the United States Army with the Second Armored Division at Fort Hood, Texas. He graduated from Marshall University in 1967. Bob taught school at West Jr. High School for 30 years and also coached football and basketball. He also coached baseball and was the assistant basketball coach at Columbian High School. In 1969-1970, Bob was inducted into the Tiffin Columbian Hall of Fame. He was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan, was a member of the American Legion Post 169 and a lifetime member of the Amvets Post #48.

There will be no visitation and a private graveside service will be held at Seneca Memory Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice.
