Robert E. Kimmet, 69, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday morning, January 28, 2022 at University of Toledo Medical Center.

He was born on March 31, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, to Robert A. and Theresa L. (Harmon) Kimmet.  On January 22, 1977, he married Elaine M. Fisher and she preceded him in death on August 8, 2009.

Survivors include his sons, Bob Kimmet and Andy Kimmet, both of Tiffin; daughter, Patti (Mark) Roush of Tiffin; brother, George Kimmet of Tiffin; sisters, Helen Hasn of Republic and Donna (Stephen) Postell of Tiffin; and seven grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Joe Kimmet.

Robert was a 1971 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High school and served in the United States Air Force.  He was a machinist at National Machinery for over 25 years and later retired from Nissin Brake in Findlay. Robert was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed karaoke, woodworking, playing his guitar, playing on his computer, drawing and loved baking.

There will not be any Service at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
