Robert M. "Bob" Wright, 79, of Lima and formerly of Tiffin, passed away Saturday afternoon, January 31, 2015 at Wyngate Senior Living Community in Lima.

On July 13, 1935 in Tiffin, he was born to Franklin and Gertrude (Schwartzmiller) Wright. He married Barbara Breitenbach on June 1, 1957 and she preceded him in death on April 5, 2009.

Survivors include two daughters, Terri A. (Marvin J.) Knapke of Coldwater, OH; Lisa J. Ricker of Lima, OH; brother, D. Michael Wright of Tiffin; sister, Sue Kuhlman of Frazeyburg, OH; five grandchildren, Cory D. "Rudy" (Tyra) Taylor of Spartanburg, SC; Joey Knapke of Coldwater, OH; Kristine M. Knapke of Celina, OH., Karri J. (Jim) Springer of Celina, OH; and Kelli L. Steen of Celina, OH; seven great grandchildren; sisters in law, Luella Wright of,Tiffin, OH; and Mary Jane Bragg of Bettsville, OH. , brother-in-law Charles "Chuck" Breitenbach of Rochester, NY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara of 51 years, brothers, Paul ,Norman, Eugene, Brother Michael Wright OSM, and Thomas; Sisters, Alice and Marjorie, grandchild, Scott E. Taylor and Three great grandchildren.

Bob was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin and currently a member at St. Charles Borromeo, Lima, OH. He graduated from St. Mary High School and Tiffin Business College. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He made everyone he loved feel special, especially his grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 6, 2015 at 1:00 PM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow with Military Honors in the parish cemetery.
