Robert E. Vogel, 92, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday morning, January 18, 2012 at his residence.

On September 25, 1919, in Carey, Ohio, he was born to Ernest and Emma (Ginert) Vogel. He married Goldie K. Faber on September 18, 1940.

Survivors include his son, Myron (Amanda Moline) Vogel of Arcadia, Ohio; foster son, Robert (Martha) Faber of Kansas, Ohio; two brothers, Wayne (Kathleen) Vogel of Genoa, Ohio and Paul Vogel of Fostoria, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Bailey and Brennan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Goldie in 1996; infant son, Randy T. Vogel; and two brothers, Clarence and Delbert Vogel.

Robert graduated from McCutchenville High School and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Tiffin. He worked at EPCO in Fremont for many years and was a farmer his entire life. He enjoyed volunteering at church.

Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Trinity United Church of Christ, Tiffin with Rev. Dr. Louis Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin.

Friends may visit with the family from 9-11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Trinity United Church of Christ.
