Roberta A. Chapman, 75, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday morning, November 14, 2012 at her home.
She was born on April 24, 1937, in Springfield, Missouri, to Horace and Ercel (Gossard) Hensley. On March 18, 1959 in Decatur, Indiana, she married Paul Chapman.
Survivors include her husband, Paul; 2 sons, Doug Chapman and Gary (Laura) Chapman, both of Tiffin; daughter, Gail (Jeffrey) Englehart, of Tiffin; brother, Larry (Ann) Hensley of Austin, TX; six grandchildren, Kurt Douglas Chapman, Joshua Eric Chapman, Brittany Little, Kathie Lee Chapman, Erica (Michael) Wayeright and Aaron Englehart; and 7 great grandchildren, Mason, Caleb, Brooklyn, Camden, Kylie, McKenna and Daren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Duke and Donny Hensley; and 6 sisters, Brenda, Patricia, Mary, Esther, Carol and Zoetta.
Roberta graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School and attended the First Church of Nazarene for years. She was a cook for 25 years at Tiffin Columbian High School and enjoyed baking cakes and catering weddings. Roberta enjoyed traveling and loved praying for everyone. She enjoyed her home and her family.
Her funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 19, 2012 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, with Chaplain David Gowen officiating. There will be no burial at this time.
Friends may visit from 2-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.
